Community Impact

Water Street Mission in Lancaster provides food, shelter, healthcare services, and family support to those who have found themselves in tough times.

As part of our 4th annual TECsgiving celebration, our entire staff volunteered its day to head to WSM to help with dock unloading, cleaning, painting, and wallpaper removal. While there, we learned more about what they do and became even more impressed by the community in which we live.

In addition to volunteering at Water Street Mission, we set a goal of raising $8,000 to support its efforts. We are proud to say we surpassed that goal, with employee donations totaling $8,908 to deliver to Water Street Mission. We believe in their efforts and are happy to help each year.

Habitat for Humanity  brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat homeowners work alongside volunteers to construct their own homes and pay a low-cost mortgage. TEC partners with Habitat for Humanity by making monthly donations of building materials through their restore program. We believe in recycling unused building materials to contribute to our local Habitat for Humanity projects rather than letting them go to waste.

Williams Syndrome (WS) is a developmental disorder characterized by unique personality characteristics, intellectual disability, distinctive facial features, and cardiovascular problems. Williams Syndrome Association is a program very special to TEC as a young nephew of one of our valued employees was diagnosed as a baby with WS.

TEC actively supports the WSA by annually sponsoring their yearly Walks for Williams, a charity event to raise not just funds, but awareness for WS.
