Our constant mission is to be more than just a roof. To achieve that, our team strives to go above and beyond with every relationship we build. That includes partnering within our community and your communities by using roofs to make a difference.
Water Street Mission in Lancaster provides food, shelter, healthcare services, and family support to those who have found themselves in tough times.
As part of our 4th annual TECsgiving celebration, our entire staff volunteered its day to head to WSM to help with dock unloading, cleaning, painting, and wallpaper removal. While there, we learned more about what they do and became even more impressed by the community in which we live.
In addition to volunteering at Water Street Mission, we set a goal of raising $8,000 to support its efforts. We are proud to say we surpassed that goal, with employee donations totaling $8,908 to deliver to Water Street Mission. We believe in their efforts and are happy to help each year.
Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat homeowners work alongside volunteers to construct their own homes and pay a low-cost mortgage. TEC partners with Habitat for Humanity by making monthly donations of building materials through their restore program. We believe in recycling unused building materials to contribute to our local Habitat for Humanity projects rather than letting them go to waste.
Williams Syndrome (WS) is a developmental disorder characterized by unique personality characteristics, intellectual disability, distinctive facial features, and cardiovascular problems. Williams Syndrome Association is a program very special to TEC as a young nephew of one of our valued employees was diagnosed as a baby with WS.
TEC actively supports the WSA by annually sponsoring their yearly Walks for Williams, a charity event to raise not just funds, but awareness for WS.
TEC is a proud supporter of the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development. Recently, members of the TEC team were able to participate in their annual Schreiber Golf Classic. Thank you to all who helped make this event happen, and congratulations to all the winners.
JAARS serves the people of Asia, Africa, and the Pacific by spreading God’s word to those who otherwise would not have access to scripture in their native language. TEC has provided a monetary donation to a JAARS pilot and family, allowing them to acquire materials such as equipment, technology, transportation, and supplies needed to serve their mission.
TEC is proud to give back to the community in Granby. These students are incredibly talented and it was incredible to watch their skills and knowledge come to life through robotics.
YWAM Barbados was started in 1994 with a desire to train, mobilize, and send Caribbean missionaries, going where few have chosen to go. Part of their mission is to be involved with “love your neighbor” projects that help the poor and/or elderly with practical projects, agricultural projects, and home repair projects.
A Haven offers various grief support groups and grief resources for children and their caregiver(s). Their mission is to partner with grieving families by providing support, outreach to the community, education, and hope.
