Mathew guided me through the process with my... insurance company and worked with them to get the insurance company all of the information they needed. They were very understanding about scheduling the date of the job. There were a few times I needed to move the date and they were more than willing to work with me to be sure the work was done when it was convenient for me. The entire roof was done in one day. They did a great job of not damaging any of or landscaping and did a great job on the cleanup. When I was real picky about one thing that I wanted fixed, they came out and quickly fixed it. We had hail damage on our house roof and we did get friend's referral to contact "Ken Stoltzfus" from The Exterior... Company. Ken is super professional, friendly, detail oriented and customer centric. He informed us about areas of the damage on our roof and guided me with how to contact our home insurance for potential coverage. Ken also helped us to get insurance coverage for our skylights which insurance was not originally planning to cover. He constantly updated me on the parts order status and potential timing for roof installation. On the day of roof installation, his team did excellent job in installing new roof on-time and cleaning up nails and all debris. They used state-of-the-art equipment to transfer shingles and other parts to roof. We had one siding was damaged for few months and he observed that during roof installation and he somehow helped me change the new siding as a surprise and good customer experience. All the roof installation experience was seamless and I am glad we found Ken and his team for the job. I would love to refer him to anyone including my family and friends. My project manager, Kyle Givens was extremely accommodating to my schedule and went out of his way to meet me at times my schedule allowed. Had a great experience working with our Project Manager, Michael! This was our first time having our roof replaced and... he kindly, and patiently walked us through the process. He did a great job of communicating with us, and was quick to respond with any questions we had. His team replaced our roof quickly and cleanly, and they were diligent about cleaning up as much as they possibly could. Mike himself came by several times to clean up any loose nails around our property, and made sure everything looked good and we were satisfied before he left! Overall: amazing customer service, great product, fantastic installation experience. Project Manager Quinn Graham... helped us from the start to the finish, walking us through the process the entire way. As someone who is very particular, I was a nervous wreck about the scale of work to be done. Quinn's patience was second to none as he took the time to explain everything, all with an extremely professional manner and not making me feel like I was being talked down to or anything like that. When we had trouble deciding upon colors, Quinn quickly volunteered to give us addresses of homes who they replaced roofs for so we could see the color in person - this helped us decide which one we wanted, and I couldn't have done that without seeing them in person. When we ran into issues with the insurance company, Quinn roped in General Manager Jaron, who really helped us out and talked with our insurance agent. Everything was worked out! Quinn was extremely communicative; he responded to emails promptly, and often called and left messages keeping me in the loop. I knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it to happen. The crew showed up on the day they said they would, and completed the job - cleanup and all, in about 8-9 hours. Quinn made sure to take special care of our pool, using the skimmer pole to take out any stray pieces of plastic/debris. Overall, an absolutely fantastic experience, especially for someone who is like me - overly anxious, worried about everything, and never had gone through this process (insurance claim) before. I am absolutely so pleased with the end product and the customer service I got along the way. Keep an eye out on the Clipper for specials - sometimes they offer up gifts with signed contracts over a certain value amount.read more

From the very... beginning, Ethan Jednat handled every part of my roof repair/replacement with the utmost professional and personal manner. He made my paper work and dealings with my insurance company easy and understandable from start to finish. When the crew showed up to do the work on my roof, so did Ethan to get them started in a proper manner without any doubts of where the roll back should be placed and the covering of all my landscaping. It was a seamless process from first contact with Sr Sales Manager James Diffenderfer who immediately had Project... Manager Tyler Hostetter come out to inspect our roof that very same day. Tyler also met with our Insurance Adjuster and upon confirming/concluding that our roof had sustained irreparable hail/wind damage, started the project moving forward. Tyler even got us a new shed roof included as well. We had an incredible experience with JT King who literally helped us with every step of the process, including corresponding with the insurance, making the claim, contacting the adjuster, and completing the inspection. JT answered all of our detailed questions at length and was personable, professional and extremely punctual with his responses. TEC was recommended to me right after a large wind and hail storm in June. Mike Wolf (our Project Manager) spent hours... with us going over our roof with a fine toothed comb documenting ever tiny hail mark on our very steep roof to submit to our insurance company. His attention to detail and thorough documentation helped our claim and he explained every step of the process. Their color selection of shingle is excellent (we went with black) and we even got to pick the color of drip edge. When the time came for our install, Mike was here from start to finish and his crew was polite and tidy. In May of 2019, our house was hit pretty hard by the hail storm in our area. Our neighbors recommended TEC to us, so we... called them. We dealt with Kyle, who was very friendly, courteous and professional throughout the entire process. We had the roof, siding and gutters replaced on the house, and the roof replaced on our one shed. The work was done in about half the time they promised, and it looks fantastic! The company is disorganized, mismanaged,storm chasing joke. They passed my account around to 3 different project... managers right up until the day of the appointment with my insurance company. When the time came to have the insurance company inspect my roof the Project Manager that showed up never saw my house, never looked at my file or knew what the first project manager saw damage wise. Which resulted in the adjuster steam rolling him and now I'm left with a damaged roof and an estimate to pay for it put of pocket. The only reason I called my insurance company is because TEC said there was damage...then when it comes time to meet the insurance company there is no damage?!? It's just a scam. I am going to get the roof fixed but there is a snowball's chance in hell that TEC will be the company to do it. Our project manager Kyle Given was very professional and explained all our options and how things would be done. We... had several questions and Kyle was always available to meet with us or email us about them. While we have a pretty large roof it was replaced in one day which Kyle was expecting. The roof replacement went very well even though we had a short rain shower. Clean up was good and of course we found old roofing nails for quite a while which is expected. We also had gutters and downspouts replaced. One issue we had was that Kyle was not able to tell us when this would be done. I really wanted to be here as i wanted a few things done differently. Unfortunately we came home one day to find the gutters and downspouts were replaced. While the work looked nice the things i wanted changed were not done. Kyle told us he did not know they were coming. Better communication between project managers and contractors need to happen. Kyle did see that the changes i wanted were made except for one gutter issue that still needs to be addressed. I had a great experience with TEC. I had my roof replaced due to hail damage. Robbie, our project manager, is very... knowledgeable and very responsive. He helped me through the process and made it very easy for me. He came out and did a free inspection, finding the damage, then when I did file the claim with my insurance company, he made sure he was at my home to meet with the adjuster to ensure my insurance company found all the damage. This helped a great deal with making sure my policy would provide coverage for my whole roof. Some of my neighbors had their insurance adjuster come out without their contractor present and either got denied, or partial roof replacements paid for by their insurance company. The crew took every step to keep the property damage free and protect our existing landscaping and pool during the installation. He was... on site several times during the day to make sure things were going well and at the end of each day to make sure things were all wrapped up for the night. Our crew was also great. They were very careful of our landscaping and did a wonderful job cleaning up each night and at the end of the project. Now we have a beautiful roof!read more

Ryan was great. He was with us from day one throughout the whole process. He showed up the same day we called the... company to come look at our roof which was damaged from hail. And even though he showed up at the end of the work day, he was still willing to go over to our neighbor and look at their roof as well. He made a special trip when the State Farm adjuster showed up to do the evaluation, being sure to point out damage so nothing was missed. He sat with us and went over the State Farm assessment as well as their contract answering all our questions. We asked him if they could do additional work that State Farm did not cover and the price quoted was fair. In short order the day came and the whole process was handled with such precision and coordination that it was finished in just a few hours. We sat outside watching the whole thing. The work crew was amazing. These men and women worked hard on that hot summer day. They were dressed from head to toe so they did not get hurt by the abrasive asphalt or burned from the sun. We tipped them well and encourage you to do also. Clean up was thorough as it is a mess to remove a whole roof as well as remnants from fitting the new roofing materials. They even have these special "brooms" that they went through the landscaping beds and lawn that picked up loose nails that had escaped their nets. They didn't go through only once but several times. The second crew came in to do down spouts, gutters and wrapping. Just like the first crew they were very good and worked as a team which left little wasted time. Also, we tipped them. The quality of the materials, the labor teams and Ryan made this a seamless process. My only complaint was receiving a post card in the mail, AFTER, our roof was installed offering a gift if you signed a contract. In this case, we were punished for being an early bird.read more

Well, where to start. They don’t communicate effectively. They responded to our community and made promises to people... about completion of work and they still haven’t completed the jobs. They flooded our basement due to not paying attention and there answer to making it right was to call serv-Pro. Bill remained the same and they still haven’t called to conduct a walk through of the work to ensure customer satisfaction.read more

They came to our house to walk us through the process. Everything was explained thoroughly and all our questions were answered. They arrived as scheduled and did a nice job on both roofs.
