During the COVID-19 Outbreak, volunteers with The Exterior Company are making free deliveries to the elderly, immunocompromised, and those who are having trouble getting out of the house. TEC’s president, Ryan Hoke, came up with the idea after watching his family struggle with the anxiety surrounding his father. His father, who recently had triple-bypass surgery, is high risk and in need of essential medicine. Lucky that his father lives close by, Hoke has been able to deliver his medicine and other essential groceries. But, Hoke knew there are others in the community who are high-risk and have no other option but to go out and get their needed items.
When Hoke asked TEC employees if they’d like to volunteer to help neighbors with deliveries during this time–they stepped up in a big way. If you or someone you know is in need of the free delivery service, call The Exterior Company at 855-766-3264 or reach out to us on Facebook!
The Water Street Mission in Lancaster provides food, shelter, healthcare services and family support to those who have found themselves in tough times.
As part of our 3rd annual TECsgiving celebration, our entire staff volunteered its day to head out to the Mission to help with packaging, organizing and assembling food and supply donations. While there, we learned so much more about what they do, and became even more impressed by the community in which we live.
In addition to volunteering at the Mission, we set a goal of raising $5,000 to support its efforts. We are proud to say we surpassed that goal, with employee donations totaling $11,035.78. In the end, we rounded that number up, to deliver $15,000.00 to the Water Street Mission. We believe in their efforts and are so happy to help.

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat Homeowners work alongside volunteers to construct their own home and pay a low-cost mortgage.
The Exterior Company’s team joins in our community’s Habitat for Humanity by making monthly donations of building materials through their restore program. We believe in recycling unused building materials to contribute to our local Habitat for Humanity projects rather than letting them go to waste.

Williams Syndrome (WS) is a developmental disorder characterized by unique personality characteristics, intellectual disability, distinctive facial features, and cardiovascular problems. Williams Syndrome Association is a program very special to TEC as a young nephew of one of our valued employees was diagnosed as a baby with WS.
TEC actively supports the WSA by annually sponsoring their yearly Walks for Williams, a charity event to raise not just funds, but awareness for WS. To learn more about Williams Syndrome and how to donate or volunteer, please visit: https://williams-syndrome.org/
The Exterior Company is a proud supporter of the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development and recently participated in a golf outing as an Ace Sponsor. Thank you to Bent Creek Country Club for hosting the event and congratulations to the outing winners!

JAARS serves the people of Asia, Africa, and the Pacific by spreading God’s word to those who otherwise would not have access to scripture in their native language. The Exterior Company has provided a monetary donation to a JAARS pilot and family, allowing them to acquire materials such as equipment, technology, transportation, and supplies needed to serve their mission.

YWAM Barbados was started in 1994 with a desire to train, mobilize, and send Caribbean missionaries, going where few have chosen to go. Part of their mission is to be involved with “love your neighbor” projects that help the poor and/or elderly with practical projects, agricultural projects and home repair projects.
The Exterior Company is honored to have been able to donate to such a selfless cause. TEC’s Sam Martin was able to visit the mission base in February and lend a helping hand in preparing a home for a family to hopefully move into this summer.
A Haven offers various grief support groups and grief resources for children and their caregiver(s). Their Mission is to partner with grieving families by providing support, outreach to the community, education, and hope.
